had a rather busy old day today I suppose, been rehearsing on the drums before I plan to record them on a few of the tracks.  Going alright but I may not to good enough on the drums to pull of playing them all.  Oh well we will see.

Just looked at the time 12:34am, wow not really that late is it?  Though I do feel pretty f*iked now.  Been listening to loads of stuff tonight, From John Mayer’s First album which reminds me of the best moments in my life, too The Dead weather Record which is killer.  Jack White is it.  Too Glen Campbell Wichita Linesman which is a Beautiful Record too The New Michael Buble Album which IS very good,  He has a different voice to everything about I reckon.

I have just decided to route through Spotify…….Bare with me………..ah there seems to be a problem arghh….Having to reinstall it…..okay all sorted now in, trying to hunt down a Nirvana song I love but can’t find……

Ah it’s a song called Aneurysm, amazing song! No wonder I could find it, its not on an album.

I think the time has come that I tell you something….and here it is….My Ears hurt, not inside.  My actual Ears, haha.

I think I should get back to work now anyways,  Hey anyone coming down on the 28th to my gig, we’d love to see you there.

I am without beard now which has made me look human again.  I am having problems with Carnival Song, trying to record a song when you haven’t fully written it is not ideal but YES it can be done!

Anyway I need to make burgers so better go.

I have written quite a few songs recently which is promising after a drought of nothing.  I also lost my voice which is still missing but I have a feeling a know where I lost it so it will be returned.

I am currently on a train with the wrong ticket but YES I am managed to get away with it.  My sneaky ways!

So what has everyone been doing, I want details as I need to compare…

I am looking to play and record some of the drums for my album next week which is gonna be fun and noisey.

God I love his recording lark.  A side from getting into the studio next year with Chris Potter,  I am half way through recording my Self Produced Debut Album.   I never realised how easy it is to record.  Well, not easy but all these producers make it look so hard.  I am recording the brass, strings and drums in the next few weeks, it’s taking a little longer as I am playing all the instruments and have to teach myself how to play them first.

I am pondering with the idea of only recording brand new songs i’s writing at the moment.  Instead of capturing my large back catalog just recording and writing on the spot.  It seems to give me a more colourful sound.

Not sure though as don’t know if it’s a good idea to ignore the other 500 songs I have written over the past 15 years.

Well, anyway so far I have only recording brand new songs, in fact I have only recorded songs that before recording had never been played in one take before, and so far this is exciting me.

Just listening to Simon & Garfunkel “Bridge over troubled water” album.  God its good, so eclectic.

Uh what else have I been doing recently?  Oh yeah… I have joined a Rock n Roll Band as just a Singer.  We sound huge and already have the record written.  We are going into the studio from January 2010 to cut the record. We have some big things on the horizon.

I will tell you more very soon regarding that.

So there you have it, 16 years of trying to perfect my debut album and you’ll have 2/3 albums at once by march next year.

Sometimes its good to be completely on your own with everything.

I am sorry, I spend a lot of time traveling and doing music and it’s my intention to blog the lot but I always forget.

Arghh god I have an itchy nose.  twichy ichy bitchy nose.  Have had all night.

So god it’s Xmas again!  It really hasn’t been the year I set out for but still an alright year.  I’d say I have discovered some life changing things this year.

I have a gig in two days (thursday) at Slak in Cheltenham.  My hometown.  Has been a fair while since I played here and will be a fair while until I am back, if ever.  So try and make it and i’ll open the jellybabies.

Better go before my nose falls off.

Goose!

Was told my a doctor yesterday before I left to come here that I am dehydrated.  Have been getting weird dizzy periods and this is the reason apparently.  It does make sense as I drink about 467 cups of Earls Grey Tea a day and that is basically it, no Water or much else.  So I am guzzling a lot of Water.

Just listening to the first Raconteurs Album,  Jack White is holding up a solitary fort with friends.  He is one of the only forward thinkers left I think.  Weird really as he married to the blues of 20′s, 30′s and 40′s.

I am just reading American Psycho at the moment and so far I have to admit, it’s very boring.  At what point does the plot kick in?  So far I have had page after page of some posh moron talking about his rich clothes and his wealthy friends.  Feels like I’m reading the welcome to work pack at one of these crappy high end companies.

Bet it gets going soon, it’s meant to be a “classic”.

I wanna play some music right now, just plug in and play.  It’s never that simple though right.

I think half the snoozy customers on here would take exception to my playing load music.

Anyways better get back to searching the web for rollerblades for Pigney Hogs.
